Rolls–Royce is mission–critical in everything they do. Every minute of every day, Rolls–Royce affects the lives of millions of people. They keep 400,000 passengers in the air at any one time. Their Trent 60 gas turbine has been sold to 16 countries and the fleet can generate enough power for three million homes. Over 30,000 commercial and naval vessels operate with Rolls–Royce equipment, keeping coasts, national and international waters safe.
The expertise, diversity and dedication of over 39,000 employees is key. The company is able to attract excellent people because of the specialist skills and knowledge that can be taught to the highest level.
Graduates can choose from two graduate programmes. The Professional Excellence Programme teaches the skills needed to be an expert in a chosen field, learning direct from some of the industry’s most experienced professionals. The Leadership Development Programme finds and develops the future leaders of the business. Graduates can expect to achieve a leadership role as early as the fourth year after joining.
Who are they looking for? There’s a certain mindset that’s shared by all Rolls–Royce people. A relentless desire to make things work better and to redefine the standards everyone else lives by. Whatever the role, graduates will need to show the same passion and collaborative spirit that’s underpinned the company’s highest achievements.
